Why choose Helping Hands for physical care at home?

As a CQC-regulated homecare provider with over 30 years of experience, we pride ourselves on delivering fully flexible, high-quality services.
Our physical homecare services can be delivered in the form of day homecare, overnight homecare, or couples’ homecare. They can also be extended, reduced, or combined to suit individual needs, goals, and preferences.
At Helping Hands, all of our care services are delivered with our core values in mind. Respect, dignity, and kindness are at the heart of everything we do, and this is reflected throughout every interaction we have with our service users and their families.
Get started with physical homecare at Helping Hands
We understand that researching homecare for the first time can feel overwhelming. To ease the transition, we offer a very simple, three-step onboarding process.

Step one: Make a referral to your nearest Helping Hands branch
We have Helping Hands branches across Northumberland, serving locations from Ashington and Morpeth to Corbridge and Bellingham.
Take a look at where we offer homecare services in Northumberland, and contact your nearest branch. You can call, email, or submit our simple online contact form, and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.
Step two: Attend your free, no-obligation initial assessment
Free at-home assessments are included as standard in our process.
This is where we will visit the service user in the comfort of their own home, and have an open discussion about their needs, current challenges, and any preferences. Using this information, we will be able to recommend the best physical homecare services.
This is also a great opportunity for family members to express their opinions or any concerns. Our team will be happy to offer peace of mind and reassurance.

Step three: Review your bespoke care plan and begin homecare
Using the information from the assessment, we will put a bespoke care plan together, detailing the services required, ideal visiting times, carer allocations, delivery methods, and any other useful information.
Our care plans are fully flexible and adaptable.
